This walk is on woodland and grassy paths with a little walking on pavements. Starting from Oaks Lane, Kimberworth, we walk through Barkers Park then descend to and across Wortley Road to reach the first of the Kimberworth statues. The 10 Statues are the work of Marcela Livingston, lets see if we find them all. Continuing across a grassy common we divert from our statue hunt and reach a viewpoint across Rotherham and the east end of Sheffield towards the City Centre. Returning to the statue trail we descend into Barber Wood, before turning up a gentle incline to find the rest of the statues and reach the Grange Golf driving range. Here we cross Wortley Road again. (We are back where we have parked the cars at this point so if anyone has had enough here they can leave the walk approximately 3 miles completed.) After a short distance on pavement we enter Scholes Coppice to reach Keppel’s Column monument. We will spend a few minutes here having a drinks break before a gentle descent towards Scholes village, and then returning to our cars by a woodland path and pavement.
