Walk description
A pleasant walk from Totley with surprising panoramic views. Starting from Totley we follow the Sheffield country walk to Holmesfield then a path down to Millthorpe to Johnnygate (1st gate) through Doll Meadow wood to Rumbling Street. On to Oxton Rakes, through Grange Wood, Moor Hall and Meak Field Wood.
We then pass Unthank Hall, go over Eweford bridge and up to Horsley Gate (2nd gate), Lydgate (3rd gate) and then Fanshawe Gate (4th gate). Then through Gillfield Wood and follow Totley Brook back to the start.
