Walk description
Walking from the car park down the land-slipped road we climb the hill at side of Mam Farm up to Hollins Cross. From there we descend to Edale where we join the Pennine Way and head to Jacobs Ladder.
After a ‘stiff pull’ up Jacobs Ladder we turn left at the top and head to the trig point at Brown Knoll. The paths around this area in the past have been notoriously boggy. However, recent paving of the footpath to Rushup edge has made it a more pleasurable experience. A gradual climb then takes us along Rushup Edge and back to the starting point.
Lunch break will be taken between 12.30-13.00 at an appropriate place.
