Walk description
From the roadside at Higger Tor, we cross over to Hooks Car Park, then over Carhead Rocks before the decent to Hathersage. After passing through Hathersage, we follow the river to Grindleford, climbing Padley Gorge up to Burbage Bridge, then crossing Hathersage Moor to return to the base of Higger Tor.
Meeting point and parking
Meeting point: Lay-by, Fiddlers Elbow, off Ringinglow Road, Hathersage, Derbyshire.
Parking: Free roadside parking at the base of Higger Tor on Ringinglow Road. (Use map reference or what.3.words below for precise location). There are a few dedicated parking bays, and paid parking at nearby Upper Burbage and Hooks Carr Car Parks. This area can get busy so early arrival is advised for free parking.
