Walk description
Starting in the pretty village of Hartington we make our way along field paths to Berresford Dale and the River Dove. Following the path uphill to the top of Narrow Dale, we eventually come to the village of Alstonefied.
Passing through this village we pick up a walled green path that takes us to Gypsey Bank, and the spectacular views down to Coldeaton Bridge. The path alongside the Dove brings us to the dry valley of Biggin Dale. A high level green lane is then our means of return to Hartingtion village.
