Walk description
Starting at Saint Helen’s Church we take the path to Froggatt then follow the river through Calver, Bubnell and on to Baslow. There we ascend Bar Lane to Eaglestone Flat where where we take lunch. We then take the three edge paths (Baslow, Curbar & Froggatt) before making our descent through Hay Wood to our starting point.
The terrain on this walk is mainly on flat paths and streets with only one climb. The walk follows the course River Derwent as far as Baslow.
