Walk description
This walk starts with a steady ascent through the woodland park, up to Spout House Hill and Swanheight, before we meander towards High Bradfield. The walk continues along established paths towards Holdworth for fine views of the Loxley Valley. We then descend through fields to Coldwell, where there is a short steep ascent to Onesacre and the route back to Glen Howe Park.
The route has again been modified from previous years, but regular walkers will know many of the paths and tracks around High Bradfield and the lovely views they offer. As to be expected in this area, the route is undulating.
Glen Howe Park has an interesting history. For more information please click here.
