Walk description
Starting from the Grouse Inn we drop down through Haywood to cross the A625 and make our way up and over Froggatt Edge. Stopping to admire the views from Curbar Gap we then work around Baslow Edge and the Eagle monument to the foot of White Edge for a lunch stop. Post lunch sees us go up and over White Edge before descending to the edge of the Longshaw Estate. Once again crossing the A625 we complete our walk along the edge of Longshaw and back to the Grouse Inn.
This walk will take approximately 5 hours.
Meeting point and parking
Meeting point: Lay-by by the Grouse Inn, A625, Grindleford, Derbyshire.
Parking: Lay-by next to the Grouse Inn. If full use the National Trust Hayward Car Park P&D, 300 metres further down road from the lay-by.
