Fox House, Longshaw, Bolehill Quarry and Higger Tor

From the car park we cross over the road into the Longshaw Estate and make our way past the visitor centre on to the pond. From here we turn off the main path and drop down through Granby Wood and over the road to Padley Gorge. We cross the stream via a wooden bridge and climb up to Bolehill Quarry. From the quarry we make our way up to Lawrence Field then on to Higger Tor before turning back to Carl Wark.
The final part of the walk takes us on the path below Burbage Edge to Fox House and the end of the walk.

This walk is through a mixture of woods and moorland and follows well defined paths in the main, although these could be muddy in places.
