Walk description
We leave Litton via fields before beautiful views quickly open up across the valley below. We drop down steeply to Litton Dale followed closely by Tideswell Dale. Good paths lead us to Litton Mill and a short coffee break. We then make our way along Millers Dale next to the River Wye where you should be aware the path can be very muddy. At the end of Millers Dale we do a short steep stretch of road walking up to where we enter the woods of Cressbrook Dale and a lunch break. After lunch we make the climb up Tansley Dale, the last of our five dales, back to the Red Lion in Litton.
