Walk description

From the carpark which is next to the Trans Pennine Trail we have a steady climb through woodland up to Holly Hall, before our descent back to The River Don via Green Moor Delf nature reserve and Trunce Farm. We then make our way to the 18th century Huthwaite Hall followed by Wortley Top Forge and the end of the walk.
This walk passes through woods and fields looping around the River Don Crossing it several times via footbridges.There are a number of stiles to negotiate and some short sections of road walking.

Meeting point: TPT Cote Green Car Park, Finkle Street Lane, Wortley, South Yorkshire.
Parking: As above. Please park with consideration to pedestrians and other road users.
