Walk description

We walk from the Visitor Centre beneath the dam wall and along the reservoir to Wellhead. From here we walk uphill to Shake Holes. This is a steady uphill walk for just over a mile. Then we go across Green Stitches open moorland, with excellent views towards the dams. Before Lost Lad we turn down Sheepfold Clough to Abbey Brook. We walk along the brook and then down to the reservoir track and back to the Visitor Centre.
