Walk description
Starting from The Miners Arms, Warren Lane we go through Newbiggin Woods and cross over the by-pass via the footbridge. We follow the path by the side of the Golf Course to Tankersley Church, from here we take the path past the Kess Ruins to Skiers Wood through fields which take us to Elsecar Heritage Centre for lunch. We return up the old tub track through woodland and fields, taking us back past the ruins, across the Golf course and back to the start of our walk and the Miners Arms.

If you wish to attend your first walk with Sheffield Walkers walking group please contact us a minimum 48 hours before the start of your chosen walk and we will add you to our list of walkers, notify the Walk Leader to expect you, and provide you with details of the meeting point and start time.
