Digley Reservoir and Hey Clough, Holmfirth, West Yorkshire

Walk description
Starting from Digley Reservoir car park, we ascend to Harden Moss Road before descending to the bottom of Magdalen Road. We then take a long but very gradual ascent to reach Harden Moss. Descending on Springs Road to Marsden Clough, we then ascend gradually to pick up Issues Road that takes us into Holme village. We will stop at the Fleece Inn in Holme for refreshments, before making our way back to Digley Reservoir and our cars.
This walk has panoramic views throughout over open moorland. It follows good footpaths with a little walking on tarmaced roads. It is a undulating route with one steep but short ascent at the start of the walk.
