Walk description
Starting from Digley car park, we cross the dam wall, then mainly use wooded paths and fields as we head towards Holmfirth. We then make a short but steep ascent, by-passing the town, which soon leads to a wide track offering beautiful views over Holmfirth. Varied paths through farmland, woodland and quiet lanes bring us to our lunch stop. From here, we pass through some picturesque woods to join some wider tracks on the Kirklees Way offering great views. We cross Brownhill Reservoir and continue on wooded paths back to Holme, then follow fields back to Digley.
