Walk description
From Crowden car park, we walk up the Pennine Way where there are fine views over Torside Reservoir and the Woodhead Valley. After lunch at Soldier’s Lump trig point on Black Hill, we make a gentle descent over Tooleyshaw Moss and Westend Moss back to the start.
This walk will be on established tracks,wwith slightly boggy terrain over moors.
Black Hill is the 6th highest in the Peak District at 582’
