Walk description
This is a figure of 8 walk from the Cat & Fiddle Inn (A537). The route takes us SSW until we meet Cumberland Brook before a steady climb up the south eastern side of Shutlingsloe.
After a short breather, the descent leads to a path traversing Macclesfield Forest before lunch near Clough Brook. Then, there’s a gentle climb up Shining Tor before visiting the ruins of Errwood Hall. From there, we swing back and head back to the Cat & Fiddle.
