Walk description
Leaving Castleton via Cavedale we climb the limestone valley towards Sliverstone Hill. We then continue on good paths to reach Windy Knoll and the climb to the top of Mam Tor. Walking along the Great Ridge past Hollins Cross we then ascend Lose Hill. After pausing to weather permitting take in the views, it’s a descent off the ridge to pick up grassy tracks and lanes to lead us back into Castleton.
