Walk description
Leaving the car park we make our way to the bridge that crosses the Derwent, across fields to enter Beeley. A stiff uphill then to reach and cross Beeley Moor and Stand Wood. We then follow good tracks to pass Swiss and Emperor Lakes and eventually the hunting tower, from where we drop down to pass Chatsworth House. Moving on to Edensor, and then another stiff uphill to access Calton Pastures, and the return to the car park.
There is about three to four stiles to negotiate (one of which is quite steep), squeeze stiles and gates being the majority.
