Walk description

From the start point, we leave Baslow and walk up Eaton Hill and onto Bar Road. Taking the footpath north over open countryside below Baslow Edge, we walk towards Curbar. Before reaching Curbar, we double back to take the footpath on the top of Baslow Edge. Walking along Eaglestone Flat and passing Eagle Stone, we meet a bridle path and walk downhill to take the footpath at the side of Jack Flat. Crossing the main A621 we climb up and over Gardoms Edge to reach Robin Hood. Taking the bottom path below Birchen Edge, we walk through a wooded area and onto open ground where we again cross the main road. Walking a very short distance along a back road, we then take a bridle path and pass the Wellington Monument. It is then downhill all the way back onto Bar Road and Eaton Hill to the start point.
