Walk description
From the car park we make our way out of Bakewell towards the showground and then cross over the River Wye to Haddon House. We walk over fields and through woods, climbing gradually in the direction of Alport for about one mile. After a sharp turn right we continue across fields which brings us to the edge of Lathkill Dale. We carry on along the top edge of the valley overlooking the River Lathkill to Over Haddon. From Over Haddon our return to Bakewell is a gentle descent, mainly on paths with a little road walking.

Meeting point: Bakewell Bridge Car Park, Coombs Road, Bakewell, Derbyshire.
Parking: Either Bakewell Bridge Car Park or if full Smith's Island Car Park (behind Bakewell Bridge Car Park). Both car parks are P&D.
