Walk description
We will follow the old railway line for approximately 1 mile until we come to a country lane which will take us to the cliff top for the start of our walk into Scalby Mill, approximately 3 miles. From here we walk along the promenade into Scarborough, approximately another 2 miles. For those walkers who want a shorter walk, there is a bus at Scalby Mill which will take you right into Scarborough town centre.
Cloughton to Scarborough is approx 6 miles, following lanes and paths along the cliff tops to Scarborough’s North Pier.

If you wish to attend your first walk with Sheffield Walkers walking group please contact us a minimum 48 hours before the start of your chosen walk and we will add you to our list of walkers, notify the Walk Leader to expect you, and provide you with details of the meeting point and start time.
