Walk description
Ashover is a small village situated on the B6036 some 8 miles south of Chesterfield. From the start point we walk to Fallgate, Woolley and then Ogsten Reservoir where we will stop for lunch. After lunch we pass Top Farm to pick up a footpath through agricultural fields, we then climb up to pass Highordeish Farm and into the woods at Ravensnest Tor. Picking up a bridle path we then continue north for our return to the start point. Please be aware there are numerous stiles, squeeze gates and sections of back road walking to negotiate.

Meeting point: Parish Hall, Milken Lane, Ashover, Derbyshire.
Parking: Free car park on Milken Lane (turn up Church Street from the centre of village, right at the Black Swan pub, car park on the right).
