Walk description
From the start at Ashopton Viaduct, we follow the path parallel to the main road passing to the rear of Ladybower Inn. Passing Cutthroat Bridge, we walk towards Moscar House which is a steady walk across a moorland of grouse butts to take us to the hill summit. Weather permitting we shall stop here for lunch and take in the surrounding views. After lunch we walk downhill to pick up the path at the side of Grindle Clough to eventually meet the path at the side of Ladybower Reservoir. From here it is a flat walk of about 1.5 miles back to the start point.
This is a moderate walk of 7.5 miles, but does include two uphill sections.
