Walk description
From Monyash we pass the school and go down Bagshaw Dale, then Lathkill Dale, up Fern Dale and then a path to Cales Farm. Next we are on a country road as far as Upper Oldhams Farm where Arbor Low is located. Another short stretch of road walking brings us to Parsley Hay where we shall have lunch.
After lunch we walk along the Tissington Trail to Sparklow then onto the Hutmoor Butts track back to Monyash.
There are quite a few gates and stiles on this walk.
To view Arbor Low there is a £1 entrance fee paid in a ‘honesty box’, anyone not interested in visiting Arbor Low can wait at the farm until we return.
It will take approximately 5.5 hours with lunch and stopping at Arbor Low.

If you wish to attend your first walk with Sheffield Walkers walking group please contact us a minimum 48 hours before the start of your chosen walk and we will add you to our list of walkers, notify the Walk Leader to expect you, and provide you with details of the meeting point and start time.
